Municipal Election

Broward County has 31 cities and each has a governing body with members elected by their voters. Each city has a Charter which stipulates the term of the office and the frequency of the elections.

March Election Options – If your city has elections in March, you have the option to vote-by-mail or in-person at your assigned polling place on Election Day.  Click Here to request Vote-by-Mail ballot

Candidate Qualifying - Candidates running for Municipal office will qualify with the City Clerk. All campaign documents are filed with and fees are paid to the City Clerk. Aspiring candidates should check with their City Clerk for qualifying dates and other pertinent information.
