I joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in January 2015. I have 18+ years of experience as a Director in Human Resources Management in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. I welcomed the opportunity to now serve in local government. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from Purdue Global University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Currently, I am earning my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration - Law and Public Policy. I am also a National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) member.

I am responsible for planning and managing all functions related to Human Resources Management for the organization. This means overseeing the recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of employees; consulting with management on strategic planning; and serving as a link between the organization’s management and its permanent and temporary employees.

I work year-round to plan for a workforce that best suits the organization and that best uses employees’ talents; plan, administer, and oversee all HR-related processes; develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the mission and vision of the organization; and most importantly, ensure legal compliance throughout Human Resources processes.
