I joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office in 2005. To date, it has been my most challenging, educational, and rewarding career. I operate as the Logistics Director and Building Manager for the Voting Equipment Center (VEC). So far, I have led the expansion of the VEC and brought forward modern voting and ballot collection procedures. I have overseen logistics in multiple local elections, 4 state elections cycles, and 4 presidential election cycles. Over the years, I have been so proud to see and play my part in achieving an over 50% increase of voter registration in Broward County.
I have always been driven to make things easier for voters. Voting is a privilege, not a chore, and I love to help all voters, regardless of party, enjoy this Constitutional right. I continuously strive to improve swift and secure ballot collection. This last election alone, we had more than 300 vehicles and election staff transporting and securing votes.
