Fort Lauderdale, Florida — The Broward County Canvassing Board will hold its first meeting of the 2026 General Election cycle on Wednesday, September 30, and will conduct the Logic & Accuracy (L&A) Test of the county's voting and tabulating equipment. The L&A Test is required by Florida law and verifies the accuracy and reliability of equipment before it is used to process Vote-By-Mail and Election Day ballots. Both the meeting and the test are open to the public and media.

Attendees will also get a firsthand look at the office's updated Election Systems & Software DS300 precinct ballot scanners and DS950 high-speed central-count scanners as they will be tested for the first time ahead of the November election.
