Broward Supervisor of Elections Celebrates
National Voter Registration Day
Broward County, FL (September 25, 2017) On September 26, 2017, Broward County Supervisor of Elections celebrates National Voter Registration Day, the largest one-day effort to register voters in the US.
More than 2,000 organizations across the country will join forces on September 26, 2017 to implement grassroots voter registration programs in an effort to ensure every eligible voter has an opportunity to register and vote in the 2018 mid-term elections.
This single day of coordinated field, technology and media efforts is celebrated on the 4th Tuesday of September annually and serves as a reminder to register to vote if you are eligible, and to check your existing registration to ensure it is accurate. Broward County residents may request vote-by-mail ballots or complete applications to become Election Day support workers. Applicants must be a US citizen and at least 18 years old to register.
