Important Notice Regarding the Spanish Translation of the Broward County School Board Ballot Question in the August Primary Election
Broward County, Florida – The Broward County Supervisor of Elections office (SOE) would like to inform all Spanish-speaking voters that we are aware of concerns regarding potential errors in the Spanish translation of the Broward County School Board Ballot Question in the August Primary Election. The School Board has provided our Office with an updated translation of the Ballot Question that will be included inside Vote-By-Mail envelopes still being sent for this election, and the notice with an updated translation will also be posted at all voting booths during Early Voting and on Election Day. A copy of this notice and the updated translation will also be posted on our Office’s website. It is important to the SOE’s office that ALL Broward County voters have the same opportunities to cast an informed vote regardless of what language they speak. Spanish language assistance is provided by bilingual poll workers at polling locations throughout Broward.
We encourage voters to visit browardvotes.gov for more information.
