Broward County, FL— On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office will administer a Referendum Special Election for eligible voters residing within the Plantation Acres Improvement District.
The special election was called by the District's Board of Supervisors pursuant to Resolution No. 26-01, adopted on April 23, 2026. Voters will be asked to approve or disapprove the conversion of the Plantation Acres Improvement District from an independent district to a dependent district of the City of Plantation. Only qualified voters registered within the Plantation Acres Improvement District are eligible to participate in this election.
Voting Options
Voters will have the option to vote by mail or in-person at their assigned precinct on Election Day, Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Early voting will not be available for this election.
Voters who wish to vote by mail must submit their request no later than June 11, 2026. All completed mail ballots must be received by the Broward County Supervisor of Elections no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
