Early Voting for the August 18th Election Begins Saturday August 8th

Broward County, Florida – Early Voting for the August 18, 2026 Primary Election begins Saturday, August 8. Broward County voters will have nine consecutive days to vote early at any of 21 convenient locations throughout the county.

Early Voting will take place:

Dates: Saturday, August 8 through Sunday, August 16, 2026
Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily
Locations: 21 Early Voting sites throughout Broward County

Eligible Broward County voters may vote at any Early Voting location, regardless of where they live in the county. A complete list of locations is available at BrowardVotes.gov.

 

Important Early Voting Reminders

  • Florida is a closed-primary state. Voters will receive the ballot for the political party in which they are registered. All registered voters may vote in nonpartisan contests and any universal primary contests appearing on their ballot. 
  • Voters must present a current and valid photo identification with a signature.
  • Accessible voting equipment is available for voters with disabilities at every Early Voting location. 
  • Secure Ballot Intake Stations, also known as Drop Boxes, will be available at all 21 Early Voting sites during Early Voting hours and at each of our permanent branch offices. 
  • Voters may review their sample ballot and confirm their voter information before voting early at BrowardVotes.gov. 

“We encourage voters to make a plan, vote early and bring a friend or family member with them to one of the 21 locations opened throughout the County. The beauty about Early Voting is that it gives voters the flexibility to cast their ballot at a time and place that is most convenient for them,” said Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott. 

 

Important Dates to Know

  • Early Voting: August 8–16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
  • Vote-by-Mail ballot return deadline: August 6, 2026, by 7:00 p.m. 
  • Election Day: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
