Early Voting in Broward County Begins this Saturday
Broward County, FL (March 3, 2016)—The Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office is prepared to be of service to voters at the 20 Early Voting Sites scheduled for the 2016 Presidential Preference Primary & Municipal Election. Instead of voting at their polling place or voting by mail using a vote-by-mail ballot, voters may take advantage of Early Voting which will take place from:
Saturday, March 5th - Sunday, March 13, 2016
Hours: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Early Voting Sites- A list of the 20 sites and hours is available on our website at www.browardsoe.org. A list of the sites is also attached to this email. Eleven early voting sites will also serve as designated vote-by-mail collection sites (10 ballots or less). Dropping off more than 10 must be done at the SOE office downtown at Broward County Governmental Center 115 N. Andrews Ave, Rm 102, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 or the Voting Equipment Center (VEC) 1501 N. State Road 7, Lauderhill, FL 33313. The VEC is located at the back of the Lauderhill Mall. Broward County voters may go to any of the Early Voting sites to cast their vote. Voters with disabilities will be able to vote using a touchscreen machine at any Early Voting site.
The results of votes cast during Early Voting will not be reported until the close of the polls on Tuesday, March 15th, Election Day. Results will be reported by precinct.
