Media invited to view ballots loaded for distribution
Fort Lauderdale, Florida — On Thursday, September 24, beginning at 11:00 a.m. , the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office will begin mailing over 136,000 domestic Vote-By-Mail ballots to Broward County voters for the November 3, 2026 General Election.
Voters are encouraged to sign up for status notifications regarding their Vote-By-Mail ballot by visiting BrowardVotes.gov. Once signed up, voters can receive notifications when their ballot has been mailed, received, and counted. Voters will also be alerted if there is an issue with their ballot.
“Voting by mail remains a viable option for Broward County voters and is a safe, secure and convenient way to participate in the upcoming General Election. Voters can request and track their ballot online. Once received, we ask that you carefully follow the instructions, sign the return envelope and return the ballot early so it reaches our office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. The media and community members are welcome to view staff as ballots are loaded onto trucks for distribution.

Returning Your Ballot: Vote-By-Mail ballots include pre-paid return postage. Voters returning a ballot by mail should allow as much time as possible for delivery. Ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections Office no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Ballots may also be returned to secure ballot intake stations at Supervisor of Elections offices or at designated Early Voting locations during the Early Voting period.
