I joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in February 1992, three weeks before my first election experience as an SOE employee. I began as a Data Entry operator, was promoted to Data Entry Supervisor, then to Floor Supervisor, and in 2016 was promoted to Voter Services Coordinator. I now serve as Director of Voter Services; to date I have accumulated 28+ years of experience.

I am responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Voter Services Department. I oversee Voter Registrations, Vote-by-Mail, Early Voting, Supervised Voting, Registration Cancellations, and List Maintenance Processing. Other duties are assigned when and as needed, based on our office needs; teamwork is essential. I believe in protocol, integrity, effective training, proper planning, and accountability.

I am passionately committed to continue building a strong unit of versatile individuals who can take on any task and perform successfully. I strive to ensure that we accurately process voter information in a timely manner, to ensure that every eligible voter can vote. I will continue to edify, empower, mentor, and develop those who desire growth; when opportunities or obstacles arise, you should be able to rise and conquer. Someone saw leadership potential in me and thrust me forward: thank you, Bruce Eldridge, you forced me to learn; it’s because of the seeds you sowed that I can fly – so that we as a team can soar. I joyfully serve at the pleasure of and under the direction of the Supervisor of Elections and the Chief Deputy Supervisor of Elections, in a collective effort to continue to achieve successful elections in Broward County, ensuring that every vote is counted.
