Broward County Supervisor of Elections Announces Grand Opening of New Facility

Broward County, FL – The Broward County Supervisor of Elections, Joe Scott, is excited to announce the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art facility, which will also serve as an early voting site and a drop-off location for vote-by-mail ballots. This new center is a significant enhancement to our community's electoral process, providing a more accessible and secure environment for voters.

The new facility is equipped with modern voting technology, increased office space, and enhanced security measures. Our new office building will be open for early voting and currently serves as a convenient location for voters to drop off their Vote-By-Mail Ballots. Our office hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Voters may visit in-person to register to vote, update their voting information, among other services.

"The opening of this new facility is a crucial development for our community in terms of transparency of the electoral process," said Joe Scott, Broward County Supervisor of Elections. "Not only does it enhance our capacity to manage the election process, but it also provides a convenient and secure location for early voting and ballot drop-offs. We are committed to ensuring that every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in the democratic process."

The grand opening will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with remarks from local officials and a tour of the new facility on August 9th, 2024.
