Over 35,000 Vote-by-Mail Ballots to be mailed to Broward Voters for the March 19,2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election.
Broward County, FL. (February 8, 2024) – Over 35,000 Vote-By-Mail (VBM) ballots for the March 19, 2024 Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) & Municipal Election will be mailed to voters on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Voters MUST sign their Vote-By-Mail Ballot Envelope before mailing it back to the Supervisor of Elections. Voters that want to vote by mail must request a ballot no later than Thursday March 7,2024.
Vote-By-Mail ballots have pre-paid postage built into the return envelopes. Voters returning a Vote-By-Mail ballot by mail should provide as much time as possible for the USPS to deliver the ballot. Domestic ballots must be received – not post-marked – by 7:00pm on Election Day, March 19th.
There will be secure ballot intake boxes conveniently available across the county for voters to hand deliver their VBM ballots to the Supervisor of Elections. Click here for location information.
Important Dates and Information for the PPP Election:
• New voters must be registered by Tuesday, February 20, 2024
• Last day for voters to request a VBM Ballot to be mailed is March 7, 2024
• Early Voting will be available from Saturday, March 9, 2024 through Sunday March 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Election Day is Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
