Pre-paid Postage Approved for Absentee Ballots

Broward County, FL (September 11, 2015) –On September 10, in collaboration with the Broward County Commission, the Broward County Supervisor of Election has approved the inclusion of pre-paid postage envelopes with absentee ballots.

Broward County Supervisor of Elections Dr. Snipes says, ‘this program will benefit all Broward voters by speeding up and simplifying the return process. The addition of pre-paid postage will allow voters to place their ballots in their mailbox for postal pick up at their door.” Voters may still hand deliver their ballots to the elections office.
