Uniformed & Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA)

Broward County, FL. (July 2, 2024) – Over 2900 Vote-By-Mail ballots for the Primary Election will be sent to military and overseas citizens on July 3, 2024. In addition to registering to vote, UOCAVA voters may request a Vote-By-Mail Ballot by using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA)

Who Qualifies for UOCAVA:

Members of the Uniformed Services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, and the Merchant Marine) and their eligible family members.
U.S. citizens residing outside the United States.

Military and overseas citizens voting in the upcoming August 20th Primary Election should note the following:

UOCAVA Vote-By-Mail ballots can be returned by mail or faxed directly to the Supervisor of Elections office. Ballots cannot be emailed to us.

Important Dates and Information for the Primary Election:

New voters must be registered by Tuesday, July 22, 2024.
Election Day is Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
